What's normal
Small bumps where injected (gone within an hour), mild redness, a small bruise or a mild headache. Results begin in 3–5 days and are complete at about 2 weeks.
For the next 4 hours
- Stay upright. Don't lie down or bend over for long.
- Don't touch, rub or press on the treated areas.
For the next 24 hours
- No hard exercise, saunas, steam or hot yoga.
- Avoid alcohol.
For the next week
- No facials, facial massage or other skin treatments on the treated area.
Follow-up: Come back at 2 weeks if anything looks uneven. A touch-up is easiest before then.
Call or text us if you notice
- A drooping eyelid or brow
- Unevenness that bothers you
Call 911 right away for trouble swallowing, speaking or breathing, or new muscle weakness.
